Jabran Hussain
Solicitor-Advocate
Jabran was originally called to the Bar at the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn. He then retrained as a solicitor-advocate and now defends in all areas of criminal law with a particular emphasis on serious fraud, complex crime and human rights.

Jabran has represented accountants, bank managers, mortgage advisers, teachers, medical staff, politicians and police officers in serious criminal investigations and proceedings.

He is experienced in providing a robust defence in cases brought by the National Crime Agency (NCA), Organised Crime Division (OCD), Complex Casework Unit (CCU), HM Customs & Excise, Trading Standards and Local Authorities.

He is a formidable trial advocate and has considerable experience in cases involving children – whether as defendants or witnesses and has undertaken the Law Society's Advocacy & Vulnerable Witness Training.

Jabran strives to achieve the best outcome in every case and has had significant success in obtaining acquittals for his clients.
He takes a pro-active approach even when acting in the early pre-charge stages with a significant amount of cases being discontinued at the investigation stage. If the case does proceed to Court, a specialist tailored team of experts and barrister(s) is formed in order to challenge every disputed aspect of the prosecution evidence. This meticulous and tenacious approach has in some cases led to discontinuance of cases by the prosecution prior to trial.
